As stay-at-home moms, it is important for us to be able to share and have fun with other friends. Equally important is the chance for our kids to socialize and play together. Fun Fulltime Mommies holds several playgroups a week for our children, while we exchange advice and experiences, laugh, vent, snack, relax, and more!

We also have occasional family events to let our spouses in on the action! And, of course, a fun night out once a month!

Through BigTent, we offer an online community of support, discussion forums, photo-sharing opportunities, a calendar of events, reviews of places and products, and much more!

Fun Fulltime Mommies is always looking for active new members! Before joining, read our member FAQ below, and if you are ready to check us out, follow the instructions on the "How to Join" page.

FAQ

Who can join?

We welcome any full-time or part-time stay-at-home parent who has the time and desire to attend an active playgroup in the Nashville area. Our membership consists primarily of moms with infants to preschoolers and most members are from the south Nashville area. We also welcome moms-to-be and stay-at-home dads.

What does it mean to have no lurkers?

We put this rule in effect for the safety of our members. We do not want strangers lurking around gathering people's background information. If you become inactive, you will be suspended from the group.

Who is an inactive member?

A member who has not posted on the forums or attended an event in the past six months is an inactive member.

RSVP?

Please RSVP to all events within a timely manner. This helps those hosting events to prepare properly. If you RSVP 'yes' to an event and are unable to come, please change your RSVP or let the coordinator know (by phone or e-mail) that you won't be showing up. This is primarily so that we don't worry about you!

If you are a no-show for 5 events that you RSVPed 'yes' to, you will be suspended from the group.

Also, occasionally events will have a maximum number of attendees, so please don't take up spots unless you are sure you will be able to attend the event.

What is the sick policy?

As a courtesy to all members, please do not attend an event if your child is acting sick or lethargic, has a fever, diarrhea, or nasal secretions, a sore throat or barking cough, has vomited in the past 48 hours, or has what appears to be conjunctivitis (pink eye). If this sick policy prevents you from attending an event, please update your RSVP or contact the event coordinator.
